Standard:Chapter 25: The Wedding

The wedding was awesome! Everyone we asked came, even those people in New York, like my mom and Joan. I was pretty sure Granny was here too, if you know what I mean. The ceromony was OK, but I don`t remember most of it. The bald guy with a tiny book stood behind the middle of Marco and I. I was wearing a purple dress, with tiny yellow flowers on it. They look like circles from far away. Marco wore a black tux, because the other colors a tux comes in are all ugly. The bald guy aked me, "Do you take Marco Bolt as your husband?" "I do." I replied. "Do you take Anne Vocoshitz as your wife?" "I do." Marco said. "You may kiss the bride." While the crowd cheered, Marco and I kissed.

After the wedding, I walked into my room. I saw a piece of paper on my bed. I read it and gasped.
Hello, Anne.
I haven`t seen you in years! Beautiful wedding, by the way. You did a great job on the farm. I am so proud of who you are becoming! I love you!
Love,
Granny
I almost fainted. I read about how dead people can communicate with alive people. I showed Marco. He gasped, too. At night, before bed, I whispered "Thank you, Granny. I got your not. I miss and love you. Love, Anne." I heard her voice in my ear, "Your welcome." She left. I cried. I talked to Granny for the first time in 12 years! I was happy, but sad. I turned off the light and fell asleep.
